Production
PRODUCTION FROM PLAN TO FORCE
Military production is more than pressing a mobilize button. Technology must be researched, infrastructure must exist, resources must be available and the city must be capable of producing the unit.
Five Gates Before Deployment
A unit can only enter service after several independent requirements have been satisfied.
Unlock The Unit
The required technology must first be available in the research tree.
Build The Base
Units require specific military buildings before mobilization becomes available.
Fund Production
Mobilization consumes the required national resources and manpower.
Use An Eligible City
Units are mobilized in cities; occupied cities must be annexed before they can mobilize units.
Complete Mobilization
The production order requires time before the finished unit enters service.
Buildings Define What A City Can Produce
Army Base
The primary building chain for most ground units. Higher levels unlock increasingly advanced land forces and support systems.
Air Base
Air bases are required for air-unit mobilization and also provide operational infrastructure for aircraft.
Naval Base
Naval bases unlock naval mobilization and serve as coastal embarkation and disembarkation infrastructure.
Secret Weapons Lab
Required for stealth units, missiles, missile launchers and warhead-related production.
Recruiting Office
Required by many infantry and officer units while also increasing manpower production and mobilization speed.
Arms Industry
A common mobilization requirement for a large part of the military roster and an important building for economic resource output.
| Building | Primary Production Role | Additional Value |
|---|---|---|
| Army Base | Most ground-unit mobilization | Land-force progression |
| Air Base | Air-unit mobilization | Aircraft operations + resource bonus |
| Naval Base | Naval-unit mobilization | Sea transport + resource bonus |
| Recruiting Office | Infantry/officer requirements | Manpower + faster mobilization |
| Arms Industry | Common mobilization prerequisite | Resource production |
| Secret Weapons Lab | Stealth, missiles and launchers | Warhead production access |
Recruiting Office Acceleration
Recruiting Offices progressively reduce the time required to mobilize military units in the city.
Where Production Happens
City Panel
The City Panel provides centralized access to construction and unit mobilization across owned cities.
- Multi-select // several cities can be selected together.
- Queue // matching buildings or units can be ordered across selected cities.
- Progress // construction and mobilization progress can be monitored.
- Infrastructure // existing city buildings are visible from the panel.
Occupied vs Annexed
Newly occupied cities can construct infrastructure, but they cannot mobilize military units until they have been annexed.
- Occupied // 25% resource-production rate.
- Annexed // 50% resource-production rate.
- Annexation // unlocks unit mobilization in the city.
- Morale // lower morale can slow construction and mobilization.
