RANKS & EXPERIENCE
Player rank tracks long-term progression through experience. Experience is earned through in-game activity, while rank thresholds determine advancement and are tied to a series of Officer unlocks.
How Rank Progression Works
Player rank is a persistent progression system based on accumulated experience. Each rank contains one or more player levels and begins at a specific minimum experience threshold.
Every player begins at the lowest rank, Recruit. As experience accumulates, the player’s level rises and the corresponding rank changes according to the progression ladder.
Experience can be gained through battlefield activity, territorial expansion and economic development. Rank therefore reflects long-term activity across multiple parts of a player’s campaign history.
Several progression thresholds are also connected to higher Officer levels. These unlocks are included directly in the complete rank table below.

How Experience Is Earned
Long-term progression is built through activity across combat, territorial expansion and economic development.
Defeat Units
Battlefield victories contribute to player progression. Defeating enemy forces builds the military side of your accumulated experience.
Conquer Territory
Capturing cities and provinces contributes to progression while simultaneously expanding your strategic position on the campaign map.
Build & Develop
Infrastructure and build activity contribute to the economic side of progression, connecting national development with long-term rank.
Rank Shows Experience. Planning Wins Battles.
Commander progression tells you how long a player has developed through the game. The next engagement still depends on the forces actually entering the battlefield. Build both sides, configure the conditions and compare the engagement before committing your units.
