Victory & VP
VICTORY & VP
Victory Points translate territorial control into campaign progress. Every scenario defines the VP threshold required to win, turning cities, provinces and special objectives into more than simple map control.
Reach The Required Victory Point Limit
Standard campaigns are won by reaching the scenario’s required Victory Point total. The exact threshold depends on the map and on whether the player is pursuing a solo or coalition victory.
Take Territory
Capture provinces, cities and other objectives that contribute VP.
Keep Control
Territory only contributes while it remains under your control.
Monitor VP
Your current Victory Points and required target are visible through the player interface.
Trigger Victory
Reaching the required threshold determines the campaign winner.
What Turns Into Victory Points
Provinces
Capturing and holding provinces increases the national Victory Point total.
Cities
Cities carry high strategic value, and their Victory Point value is tied to population.
Strategic Sites
Certain campaign types add special sites or Control Points with unusually high or recurring VP value.
Coalitions Win As A Combined Force
Coalition members contribute toward a combined Victory Point requirement rather than each needing to reach the solo target individually.
The Target Scales With The Team
The required coalition total depends on the scenario and number of coalition members. Once the coalition reaches that shared threshold, the coalition wins regardless of which member contributed which individual portion.
Victory Does Not End The Map Instantly
Once a winner has been determined, the campaign continues until midnight of the current in-game day. This allows remaining players to continue taking territory and increasing their final Victory Point total before the round officially closes.
