Coalitions & Alliances
COALITIONS & ALLIANCES
Conflict of Nations supports teamwork on two different levels. Coalitions unite nations inside a single campaign, while Alliances create long-term player teams that continue beyond one individual game.
Two Different Types Of Teamwork
Coalition
A Coalition exists inside an individual campaign. Nations join forces during that game and work toward a shared Victory Point target.
- Duration // tied to the current campaign.
- Victory // shared coalition VP objective.
- Access // Right of Way among members by default.
- Communication // dedicated coalition message channel.
Alliance
An Alliance, or clan, exists beyond a single game and creates a persistent group of players who can compete together in organized alliance games.
- Duration // continues across campaigns.
- Identity // alliance name and tag.
- Communication // dedicated alliance chat.
- Competition // access to Alliance Challenges.
What Coalition Membership Changes
Right Of Way
Coalition members receive Right of Way with one another by default.
Team Channel
The coalition receives its own message channel for coordination.
Shared Victory
Member Victory Points combine toward a coalition-specific winning threshold.
Combined Fronts
Member territory can create shared routes and connected operational areas.
Specialization
Team members can coordinate military development around different strategic roles.
Joint Campaign
Success depends on the combined performance of several nations rather than one state alone.
The Team Wins Together
Victory Points contributed by all coalition members accumulate toward the team’s shared victory requirement.
Individual Contribution Does Not Need To Be Equal
The coalition wins when its total reaches the required limit. It does not matter which member supplied each individual Victory Point, making overall team performance more important than identical member scores.
Alliances Continue Beyond One Campaign
Alliances provide a persistent team structure for players who want to organize, communicate and participate in dedicated competitive games together.
Alliance Identity
Members share an Alliance identity and have the Alliance tag shown with their player name.
Alliance Chat
Members have access to a dedicated communication channel outside the structure of one campaign coalition.
Leadership
Alliance leadership can manage the team, promote moderators, transfer leadership and handle membership.
Alliance Games
Alliances can participate in games reserved for the teams involved in the challenge.
Challenges
Alliance leaders can create and accept eligible Alliance Challenges and organize team participation.
Competitive Play
Elite Alliance Challenges provide a dedicated format designed for organized competition between established teams.
The official Alliance documentation lists rank 25+ — Corporal — as the player requirement for participation in Elite Alliance Challenges. These matches use dedicated maps and are structured to reduce competitive variance between the participating teams.
