Tank Commander

The Tank Commander — represented by the Tank Veteran line — is an armored officer combining powerful personal combat statistics with an increasingly strong Army Boost for friendly units travelling and fighting in the same army.

Its defining value is formation command: infantry gains movement speed while tanks gain progressively larger attack, defense and speed bonuses as the officer advances through seven veteran levels.

What Makes The Tank Commander Different

[ FORMATION EFFECT ]
Army Boost
The officer applies bonuses to eligible units in the same army, including itself where the game permits. These bonuses scale strongly across the seven Tank Veteran levels.
[ ARMORED COMMAND ]
Tank Specialist
Tank Attack, Tank Defense and Tank Speed are the main formation bonuses. At high level they can substantially change the combat profile of an entire armored stack.
[ SUPPORT EFFECT ]
Infantry Mobility
Infantry travelling in the same army receives a movement-speed bonus ranging from +5% at lower levels to +25% at Level 7.

Eastern Doctrine

Seven officer levels using the same progressive Army Boost and base combat progression. Eastern differs in research availability timing.
