Tank Commander
Tank Commander
The Tank Commander — represented in-game by the Tank Veteran unit line — is an armored officer that combines strong personal combat statistics with an increasingly powerful Army Boost for friendly units in the same army. Across seven levels the officer progresses from Basic Tank Veteran to Advanced Tank Veteran and finally Modern Tank Veteran.
Its defining feature is not merely its own attack, defense and hit points: the officer boosts infantry movement and increasingly improves the attack, defense and speed of armored units travelling and fighting with it.
Officer Intelligence // What Makes The Tank Commander Special
Army Boost
The officer applies combat bonuses to units in the same army, including itself. The effect becomes substantially stronger with every Tank Veteran level.
Armored Formation Specialist
The officer’s most important bonuses affect armored units: Tank Attack, Tank Defense and Tank Speed. At higher levels these bonuses become large enough to meaningfully change an entire armored stack.
Infantry Mobility
Infantry travelling in the same army receives a movement-speed increase. The infantry speed bonus progresses from +5% at low levels to +25% at Level 7.
Doctrine Access // Eastern · Western · European

Western Doctrine
Basic Tank Veteran → Advanced Tank Veteran → Modern Tank Veteran. The officer remains focused on armored command and formation-wide bonuses.

Army Boost // Level Progression
★ Officer Effect // Applied To The Army
The Tank Veteran’s Army Boost affects units travelling and fighting inside the officer’s army. Tank Attack, Tank Defense and Tank Speed scale progressively, while Infantry Speed also increases with level. These values must remain separate from the officer’s own base combat statistics in the battle calculator.
| Level | Veteran Tier | Infantry SPD | Tank ATK | Tank DEF | Tank SPD |

| 1 | Basic Tank Veteran | +5% | +5% | — | +5% |
| 2 | Basic Tank Veteran | +5% | +10% | +5% | +5% |

| 7 | Modern Tank Veteran | +25% | +35% | +25% | +25% |
⚠ Calculator Rule // Do Not Add This To Base Stats Permanently
Army Boost values are formation bonuses. They should be calculated after the individual unit’s base combat statistics are loaded. The officer’s own combat values and the Army Boost therefore need separate fields in the calculator engine.

Strategic Verdict // The Officer Multiplies The Stack
The Tank Commander should never be evaluated as an ordinary combat unit. Its personal attack, defense and HP become strong at higher levels, but its real value comes from Army Boost. At Level 7 the officer provides +25% infantry movement speed and boosts tanks by +35% attack, +25% defense and +25% speed. This means the battle calculator must first calculate every unit’s own base statistics and applicable terrain or doctrine modifiers, then apply the officer’s formation bonus as a separate multiplier only to eligible units in the same army.
