Long-Range Multirole Fire Support
Firepower
S45 starts with 50-range engagement bands. S46 expands several
target columns to 75 and S47 extends those same positions to
100.
Air Defense
From S46 onward the source confirms attacks against fixed-wing
aircraft, rotary-wing aircraft and missiles.
Mobility
S46 gains Air Transport range 5,000. S47 extends transport to
10,000 and adds Air Assault range 500.
Shared Doctrine Research Timing
Eastern, Western and European doctrines use the same supplied
schedule:
L1 Day 3,
L2 Day 16,
L3 Day 28.
No doctrine-specific selector is required.

Combat Rule // Keep Target Positions Separate
The supplied source provides target-icon positions rather than safe
textual names for every combat column. ATK and DEF positions
therefore remain neutral and are not renamed or summed. The
engagement-range bands are also preserved separately:
Range 1–2,
Range 3–6 and
Range 7–10.
[ RANGE INTELLIGENCE ]
Engagement-Band Expansion
S45
All three supplied engagement groups are
range 50.
S46
Range 1–2 remains 50,
Range 3–6 increases to 75,
Range 7–10 remains 50.
S47
Range 1–2 becomes 75,
Range 3–6 reaches 100,
and Range 7–10 becomes 75.
Maximum Range
The maximum displayed engagement range reaches
100 at S47.

Terrain Rule // Sequence Preserved
The supplied terrain section provides four attack modifiers, four
defense modifiers and eight speed positions, but does not safely
map every position to a textual terrain name in this dossier.
WW3Planner therefore preserves those sequences exactly without
inventing terrain labels.
[ CONFIRMED SPECIAL MECHANICS ]
Air Defense & Strategic Mobility
Air Defense // S46
The S46 tooltip confirms attacks against
fixed-wing aircraft,
rotary-wing aircraft and
missiles within a
range of 75.
Air Transport
S46 confirms strategic Air Transport range
5,000.
S47 extends this to 10,000.
Air Assault // S47
S47 confirms Air Assault from a nearby helicopter when within
range of a suitable landing zone, with operational range
500.
Protective Clothing // S46
S46 confirms limited protection against weapons of mass
destruction, including chemical and nuclear warheads.
[ CAPABILITY BREAKPOINTS ]
Confirmed Unlocks
| Capability | S45 / L1 | S46 / L2 | S47 / L3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Air Defense | Not confirmed | Confirmed / Range 75 | Capability retained |
| Air Transport | Not supplied | 5,000 | 10,000 |
| Air Assault | Not supplied | Not supplied | Range 500 |
| Protective Clothing | Not confirmed | Confirmed | Capability retained |
Data Separation // Attack ≠ Range ≠ Terrain ≠ Mobility
ATK and DEF vectors remain direct target-specific combat values.
Engagement ranges are stored separately by supplied target groups.
Terrain modifiers and terrain-speed positions form another layer.
Air Defense is a separate interception capability. Air Transport
and Air Assault are strategic mobility mechanics and are not added
to direct combat values.
